I dont think you can stop worrying. Veer is our first small dog. He has been with us now about a month and I still wake up so much to check where he is in our bed. ( dont want my husband to roll over him).
If I put him down on his bed, below our bed. I wake up to see if he is comfortable and if he is sleeping ( he hates sleeping on his own, and he wakes up to see if its time for hi to come on our bed )
Every step I take I make sure he is not under my feet. I go around making sure there is nothing on the floor he could eat and fall sick.
I would not have know the bliss and pain of raising a small dog, if not for my baby Veer.
Wont have it any other way.
