I take Teddi out about 8am for a walk and she pees a lot.....like maybe 5 times. The she is home all day but pads are down and I get home about 5:30from work. I think because my Standard Poodle holds it all day Teddi does too. Maybe once a week there will be pee on the pad...other than that she holds it until I get home. I think it depends on the dog. My friend has a cockapoo who is about 20 lbs and she is 2 years old and still pees about 3 times a day on the pad during the day. I've told my friend she should be able to hold it but she never took the pads away and now she feels like she has to leave them there or she will pee on the floor.
