the puppy shouldn't go anywhere besides your back yard until they have completed their first series of shots, mine was done at a little over 4 months old. it is hard because we wanted to take him everywhere. We just got our second puppy and he hates to be left alone while I take Sam for a walk but I didn't want to change my routine for Sam just because of Harley. He goes for his 3rd set of shots this morning so it won't be too long before I'll be walking the two of them together.
