As far as her teeth and spaying, no, we have not taken care of that at this point. With her age, and being just 5 lbs, both vets are very hesitant to put her under. She's been eating wet food as well as some kibble, and so far she's doing really well. Given her age we've really weighed the pros and cons of doing surgery on her, and so far we have decided to keep it simple.

She really is doing very well, and the only reason I would like to find a home for her is that I have a "Permanent" member of the house who's 80 lbs and just 2 years old. Although she does fine with him, he follows her around like a little wind up toy and I think it makes her a little crazy sometimes. lol. Amazing how she knows how to put him in his place, but I just have a feeling she'll do much better in a home with smaller dogs and/or being an only puppy.

If she ends up staying here, she's more than welcome. She really is a cutie!

How old do they think she is and what is wrong with her that they feel they cannot do a dental and spay?
Five pounds is a pretty normal size....surely there must be another reason? I have never heard of a vet not doing a spay or dental on a five pounder.
I think if a vet told me that, I would seek another opinion.
