I always leave the bathroom light on in our bedroom for Gucci and sometimes he is still stubborn if I don't wake up when he is WHINING in the morning and he goes on the carpet
( I SWEAR HE DOES IT ON PURPOSE TO TEACH ME ABOUT NOT GETTING UP WHEN HE SAYS LOL)
I then "get up" like a "good mommy" does and clean it ... the lil stinker!!!
I do think some light helps
