I haven't a clue, but have always left a light on for my babies. One of those small bedside lamps with the tri-light, I think it might be 15 watts.

I do know when I did forget, Oscar would stand at the end of the bed like he couldn't see to jump down - until I turned on the tv to brighten the room a bit.
