I don't think the concern was how you care for your animals, they obviousely looked happy and healthy, but even me watching the video right at the end when the one dog was getting ready to jump off the couch I cringed. Nothing against you or your care of your animals, just a circumstance and they probably do that 1000 times a day but for me, who does not own a yorkie but have read alot of stories, even on here where it is full of animal lovers who take GREAT care of their animals, know accidents happen. And while you may have 19 animals, you should know each one is different. I think "John" was just pointing out something that you might not have seen. Just because you have alot of animals does not mean you can prevent every situation, because new ones might come up that you might not have even thought of. My middle daughter rolled out of bed when she was 3, landed just right and broke her collarbone. I am a great mom and never thought of her bed as a hazard..... but accidents still happen. I now try to tell people to be careful because I now know that it can happen. It is not an insult on their parenting, just a caution of what CAN happen.
Okay, so you now know that your dog can POSSIBLY get hurt by your tile floor...acknowledge it, thank the person for showing concern, and move on.
I have told my sister what to watch out for because I have experienced things myself, I am not insulting her, I am trying to prevent anything from happening to her daughter or her dog or cats. I don't think I am a bad parent because my daughter rolled out of bed, but you can bet I check on my kids every night and push them over if they are by the edge.
I think you are over reacting and you seem like maybe someone else has pushed a 'bad owner/neglect' button and this guy 'John' seems to have been the straw that broke the camels back. I could be wrong.... just an oppinion.
