I don't think he was being rude, it is just hard to know what tone someone is using in text since you can't see facial expressions and body language.
We had the same issue, I just got a leather outtoman (sp?) to replace my coffee table because of the same concern I had for my babies. They love to chase and bounce the same as I see in your video and I would just die if one suffered any kind of trauma because of an accident. Before I had a table similar to yours and now it is outside on my back patio and looks great holding plants! It is still around just not in such close proximity to where my babies play.
Now I understand that people just don't go out and buy new furniture for the sake of thier pets (although it is an awesome excuse
) but maybe just remove the table from the area?
