We have those turkey vultures here in TN too. I hate to see them flying around the farm - it's never a good sign. I have always heard they only eat dead things too, but yesterday when I was out with my litte Bonnie, one flew over and checked her out. It scared me! we hurried into the house and I asked my husband if they only eat dead stuff. He said yes, but I am not taking any chances. I mean, if they are hungry enough...
