I would really like to learn more about becoming a foster home. I had started the process with a newer rescue that is based in Clive - but then I had some unexpected things come up & didn't complete the process
It is a wonderful experience to foster dogs. You are in a better central location for more help if needed. I am designated a foster but I cannot take in dogs with high needs (physically) as I don't have the services in the immediate vicinity where I live however I do have services in town and other extended services in Des MOines and Omaha/COuncil Bluffs.

I'll dig up some information for you and send it off to you via PM. Once you go through that we can talk more!

We are currently working on new facilities in SW Iowa - Fremont and Mills County. I am looking at applying for a grant to EDUCATE counties, communities on puppy mills and how to eradicate them from he area. Knowledge breeds understanding!
