Feeding was an issue for me when I got Madison my 9 mos yorkie. As I had a 5 yr old maltese. So when I learned about Nature's variety I was thrilled that it was nutrionally sound for my senior dog as well as a puppy. which meant that I could feed them both the same thing. I don't free feed them. they get a scant 1/4 cup kibble and a tablespoon of canned mixed in. Morning and night. If they don't eat all their food within an hour it gets picked up. They get a few pieces of dehydrated chicken as treats throughout the day.
