I just asked the vet about Violet's albumin levels, which they did test, and they were normal. So that's good news.

The vet said that not only did Violet's dinner from last night stay down, but she ate more dog food this morning, and so far so good! I am so excited! Funny how such a little thing like not vomiting has me grinning from ear to ear. Hah. She said that they are no longer feeding her nasally, and that they are going to give her next dose of each medication she is on orally, rather than via injection or IV, so see if she can keep the meds down (she is on an anti-nausea med, 2 antibiotics, and a pain med). If she can keep them down all day, I can pick her up at 8pm! Yay!!

The vet also said that Violet has been more perky this morning, and her little tail has been wagging when people go over to visit her. That is the best news of all - I haven't seen her adorable little tail wag in days.
Very good news! Hope they can now just figure out what caused all this.

Hope she's doing great & is home with you tonight!
