Great news regarding the albumin levels, and I am so glad to hear she is eatting. I hope they can diagnose Violet’s condition and put her on the track to good health, either by medication or diet. However, if you continue to have chronic vomiting issues maybe your vet can give you anti-nausea medication to administer yourself (via needle). When Oscar had his episodes by the time we drove him to the emergency vet, 30-40 minutes had passed - which would mean he vomited 20-30 times. At that point he would then have to be admitted and put in IV. With Oscar his episodes were about every two weeks – so you can imagine the stress on him to be admitted to emergency, as well the cost every time he was admitted. With the needle he would stop vomiting within ten minutes, which meant he only vomited 2-3 times - and spend the rest of the day normally. |
