Did your vet check the protein levels, especially the albumin? My ten year old was diagnosed with IBS a couple years ago and then lymphangtasia last August. He had episodes of chronic throwing up, 20-30 times. What happens is their intestines won't allow the protein from the food to be absorbed back into their system.
I am not sure if a 5 month old can even get this; however, it’s worth a test.
