Nikko almost vomited today, or at least acted like he was about to... turns out a tooth was lose and dangling in the back of his mouth, and I think it was tickling his throat in an uncomfortable way! I reached in his mouth after his choke-ish episode and felt a very very lose tooth in the way far back... a couple minutes later he spit it out on the carpet.

We're trying to bust as many teeth out of Nikko skull as we can before he gets neutered at the beginning of next month... $16.50 per tooth didn't sound too bad to me until I started doing the math if he needed several teeth pulled... in the last 4 days we've collected four larger teeth, and I know that a couple weeks ago he'd already lost most of his teeny tiny front teeth and grown them back.

Anyways, I know this is an old thread, but I'm going to share what we've been doing lately anyways. His gums seem to hurt him off and on, he's eating fairly sporadically all the sudden, and we need those teeth OUT! So we've been freezing his kibble in ice cubes. I figure they're hard and crunchy and might help loosen some more teeth, and they're cold so they'll make his gums feel better, and he's also getting help receiving his healthy daily dose of kibble. We also play lots of tug of war whenever his teeth aren't hurting him too badly, and he also gets bully sticks, though he hasn't been as interested in them lately :-(

We tried giving him a frozen baby teether as a chew toy, but it was in pieces within seconds, and we had to take it away for fear of him ingesting the plastic.

I'd love to hear if anyone else has any helpful suggestions for either helping ease the pain or helping lose the teeth asap.
