You are correct it would be an EX and not a DQ because if a judge thinks the color is enhanced it's called a foreign substance so that is an EX not a DQ. Most experienced judges know when a dog is enhanced...I was talking to a judge once and was commenting on the color that came off on her hands after going over the yorkies one time LOL...Sometimes you can tell a yorkie is enhanced and sometimes you can't just depends on how well someone can do it LOL! A good portion of the specials are dyed. I saw on a website that offers color enhancing products on their website LOL...
