I know this is a weird request
However, I will be getting lots of new furniture soon, some of which will be a new couch, overstuffed chair and ottoman - and I can't decide what "style" I want to go with
I am almost SO tempted to just go with something very simple -
not a printed couch or chair, that way I can add splashes of whatever color I want with printed or solid throw pillows, etc. I looked at one this past weekend and I did like it. It was almost exactly what I had in mind
It was just a solid, neutral (tan/khaki) colored tweed couch....it would look good with just about any decor and I could paint my walls any color I wanted. I do like the idea of having a couch that isn't printed, that way I can get just about any area rug I wanted to and I wouldn't have to worry about the couch and rug clashing - as well as throw pillows, wall color, etc., etc.
I LOVE shabby chic...however I can't decide if I want to go with this or something more simple, clean and traditional for my living room (I know my bedroom WILL be shabby chic
). Geez, I am SO confused.
I just want to make sure that I LOVE whatever I end up going with cause I do tend to get tired of things quickly and if I end up hating it I will want to change everything again right away - and my hubby would kill me
LOL.
Anyway, enough BLABBING lol....I would love to see pictures of your couches/living rooms! Start posting away!!!
