Of course it is a smile!!! Maybe not the kind we do, but us parents know when they are happy! For that matter, all my dogs smile, but it looks different in all of them. Some show teeth, some make mouths stretch, and Princess does the "Elvis snarl" like I read earlier in another post. It looks like a yorkie smile to me
It makes me feel the same way I did when my kids smiled at me for the first time. (remember that, moms?) There is nothing like that feeling. Priceless!
