Dogs absolutely sense when we are sad... Freeway was not at all a cuddle bug, he had his moments, but for the most part he just wanted to play, eat, and sleep... When I was 15, a friend of mine committed suicide and sweet little Freeway did not leave my side for weeks upon weeks. He would sit right beside me and put his head on my leg. He was such a comfort... miss the little guy.
