It's difficult to acclimate any pup to a new home. Bonding with him and making sure he eats are your main priorities at first. It's not so much that your pup is an 'expensive' breed, but more that he's a toy breed, very small and without large energy reserves. From your posts, it sounds like he hasn't had much TLC in his short life so he may just not know how to take to it yet. Just make sure he eats (you may have to hand feed him) and gets Nutri-cal or at least syrup to keep his blood sugar up. I certainly hope he has no other health issues but, until you see the vet, just makes sure he eats, gets plenty of water and stays warm. BTW, congratulations on your new pup. Yorkies are the best and hopefully soon you'll see just what a joy they can be. Best of luck.
