In order to do homecooking for dogs, you have to add in supplements and all that stuff to make sure it's balanced for them. That stuff is beyond me, so I feed dog food lol. You also have to be careful with some ingredients too because dogs can't have everything that people can... just to name a few - garlic, onions, chocolate, grapes, raisins, etc.

In order to avoid runny poop, I would mix the home cooked with the kibble for awhile starting with mainly kibble and a little of the home cooked food, then a little less kibble, and a little more home cooked, so on and so forth until you fade completely off the kibble.
