Yes, I believe our yorkies know when we are sad and blue. My Boobah comes to me when she hears me crying or looking sad. She will bring her little red ball to me and act like she wants me to throw it for her. Like trying to bring me out of my black cloud. My other yorkie, tiny Gina, 3 lbs, just sits there looking at me trying to figure me out. Like saying, why is mom crying? But Boobah is a whole different story. She cries also when she is sad and then Im the one to brighten her up. They are just like people. I love my yorkies.
