Our Sophie was sick with pancriatis a couple of months ago. The vet kept her for four days and put her on IV treatment immediately. He made sure she was getting enough liquids and medications. Sophie had eaten something bad in someone's yard as we walked around the block. She is all well now and the Vet told us that it is very easy for small dogs to get sick like this.
