I guess I'm willing to be a little annoyed so that important topics will be brought to my attention. Protesters have done a lot to get this country where it is today. I think we would still be under England's rule if nobody believed in protesting. How about women's voting rights, don't you think those women must have been annoying parading around bringing scads of attention to themselves? The protesters of the 60's got us out of the Vietnam War, and they were annoying too. To me this was a well-executed protest, nobody was hurt or endangered, just annoyed. Not sure about the male protester, I don't, know if he was hurt, but that's one of the drawbacks of protesting. He probably was asked to leave peacefully and refused, and this made better video. The mall has every right to remove those people breaking the rules, and with video cameras the message was probably relayed on their local news channels so that people were made aware of the problem. Before we can fix the roof, we have to know there is a leak. |
