I need someone to help me feel better about this....Mya (9 months old, 9.5 lbs) was running outside tonight playing, and she got into her manic mode and started sprinting.
The next thing I know she started crying so loud and limping toward me....i freaked out she wouldnt walk or move for 30 minutes. I took her to the Emergency Vet asap.
They took an Xray...fractured hip...she needs surgery. They said it is a fluke and she will be fine...but i am freaking out...I am taking her to her normal vet in the morning asap to get a 2nd opinion, cuz i want her surgery done by the vet who knows her and who i trust vs. the one the emergency vet refers me to.
She has been under anesthetic before and did fine...but i am just freaking out. Has anyone else had this happen??? Please tell me she's going to be okay
