Maybe she's PG, maybe she's not. I think that if she was just bred last week, it'd be a bit soon for any signs at all. A female's teats will get larger/more prominent while they are in heat as well as an enlarged vulva. The teats will remain that way & change due to milk production (later in the pregnancy) if she did get pregnant.
When I had a pregnant female, the first sign I saw was what was morning sickness, then at about 3 1/2- 4 weeks after the first tie, I suspected a change in the firmness of her belly. Palpitation of her belly by our vet a few days later confirmed my suspicions. She was indeed PG & had 4 pups! We did an xray 1 week before the pups were due. |
