My 12 year old male yorkie who was always healthy and weighed 14lbs got really sick had blood work done and found that Chip had pancreatitis. He recovered but never was back a 100%. Then he got a bladder infection that he wasn't getting 100% better after taking an antibiotic. Had x-rays done and found he had bladder stones. Chip had surgery for the stones and the vet found an unusual thickening of the bladder wall. A biopsy was done and we found out that Chip had bladder cancer. We had to let him go 5 weeks later. He went from a healthy senior dog to very very sick dog in a matter of a few months. Everything just seemed to happen so fast.
