We tried it all and on a hot day !! ew!
so we took out the rugs, put in a laminate wood floor and a large wee wee pad and it's so much better, I think they like the soft pad (or carpet!)
My friend, who cleans houses gets "Joe Campanelli" carpet cleaner, swears by it !!! Only from the internet !???? google it...
