hi..I have been the the same situation. I purchased a yorkie from what turned out to be a puppy mill. He was very healthy with the exception of a torn ACL muscle in his knee. He was a large yorkie weighing in at 13lbs. and his nose eas a little longer than it should have been. He lived to be 13.5 yrs old and was a wonderful dog. So they are not all poor out comes.
