I agree about getting your male in sooner to get him fixed. Most vets charge a little more if your female is in heat when you get them spayed. But it can be done, it is more risky then too.

But your male can be fixed now and then by the time he is all healed and good, she can go in...... then you only have to deal with the recovery of one at a time.
