But even with a double barrier, from what I have heard, "where there is a will, they can find a way". So whatever you do, for the whole 3 weeks or so that she is in heat, DO NOT let them alone together..........even for a minute. Good luck to you....their whining, barking, & scratching to try to get to each other can get crazy & annoying after a while. I went through it myself last November.
