Yes, I was saying that I have a Silky Terrier/Yorkshire Terrier. She is now 7 months old as opposed to 4 when this thread started and she has started to get small mats under her back legs and sometimes really small ones on her hindquarters. They usually come out with the bath, lots of conditioner, and for really hard ones, spray leave-in conditioner and a comb.
It seems that her hair does better with once a week baths, sometimes more frequently if she's dirty from outside or if she has food in her hair (I have kids that like to drop snacks

). I've heard you aren't supposed to bathe them that much, but she looks and FEELS aweful! Her hair actually looks drier without the bath! I don't get it!
Anyways, I do believe she has a cotton coat now cause there just isn't any 'silkiness' to it. Oh well. I guess that means more grooming for me!
