I'm positive he will be fine. I cut the tongue of my chihuahua a number of years ago. It wasn't a little snip but about 1/4 inch of the tip all the way off. It bled for hours, and I was just terrified. The er vet said nothing could be done, and our reg vet said the same thing. So Zena ate popsicles for about a week and was completely fine. Boy is it scary though!!!
