I went over to see the pups and saw the female. I told her I was definite on the size I wanted and she assured me it would be small like Minnie was. When I picked her up and she gave me all the paperwork and showed me the weight and told me I had to pay extra for the small size, which I did. I took the new pup to the vet that afternoon and the pup was 10oz more than the weight on the paperwork (which was dated only 3 days prior).

Yes, I am disappointed that I was "taken" by someone I trusted. I fell in love with Gabby (Gabrielle) and eventho she will not be small as I wanted and PAID FOR, I will not return her. She is 8 months old now and not only is she almost the size as Samson, but her nose is turning pink.

I informed the breeder of all of this and she said and did nothing about it, not even return the money for the purchase of a smaller dog. Needless to say, I will not use her again.

Just love your dog and don't fret over the possible switch
I have a question for you. when she weighed the puppy, was she using a baby scale? Also, was the vet using one of the big scales? If so, those are NOT very accurate, especially with small pups. Mine is 2.3 which, on the big scales, means around 2lbs 5 oz. but, I know one time we weighed mine on the vets scales 4 times, and got 4 different readings, with them being close to a pound difference at times.
