I would be willing to bet that someone else decided they wanted that puppy and offered more money to get that puppy and the breeder figured she could make the switch without anyone noticing. If the breeder said she just ate alot in six days she is a FLAT OUT LIAR. Even if you decided that you wanted to keep this puppy, there is NO way in h3ll that I would NOT say anything to the breeder. I would let her know that you are keeping the puppy BUT that you KNOW WHAT SHE DID and don't appreciate it one bit. Shame on her! |
I too am thinking that this is exactly what happened ! Someone else came along and offered more money to the breeder for the one that was spoken for already!
Contact the breeder and insist on seing the pups again! Yours might be already gone to a new home though

If there was any way to prove that the breeder actually did the switching, then I would take her to court.
Again, 6 lbs is a small dog... However, You ought to have gotten what you paid for and chose > I am glad you guys love this little puppy that you have brought home, however it does not excuse the fact that the breeder did this! I woulod be very upset too!
