Yes , I am feeding grain free because I like the benefits not because of an allergy. I was originally thinking raw but dh is to freaked by that.... so I decided Grain free kibble , medallions , and a canned rotation diet would be a good substitute.
They
did have a
big problem with itching and biting and rubbing their faces when they were on their original food ( bad foods) but that food contained corn, wheat , glutens, by products ,and many other bad things
But when they were on NV Prairie kibble with good quality grains they didn't seem to have any reaction to it at all ( aside from alot of poo) So I don't think they have a problem with high quality grains .
I want mainly a grain free meat based diet , but they really seem to like the Wellness canned that contains some grain. I just didn't want to upset their stomachs if I used both.
The poo situation is still not toatally under control ( big piles
) so I didn't want to add to that by upsetting their tummy!!!!
