It depends on why you're feeding grain-free. If you're feeding grain-free because your dog is allergic to certain grains, then obviously mixing the two is not beneficial. You would basically be defeating the purpose. However, if you're feeding grain-free because you generally believe it's healthier, higher quality food, I don't see why you couldn't mix the two. Just your preference, really.
