Nostalgia lane for me too! I had one in my first apartment 24 years ago (seems like yesterday, sort of.. ok more like day-before-yesterday
). I too got mine at Pier 1. I got rid of it in the late 80's, it started breaking. But it was nice for when I had it. I'd not have another. They take up alot of space.
