I would not change that schedule and I would not give just Nutrical if it is avoidable. On top of her already being predisposed to hypo, she will be stressed. I would try to get something into her every hour or two even if that means opening her mouth, sticking food in and closing it.

Maybe try something like ZiwiPeak just for the ride?
I think it is jerky-like food but I guess there would be a bit of a choking concern.

I don't think I could take Nutri-Cal on the plane unless my vet put a prescription sticker on it. Or I'd have to squeeze a little into a plastic baggie.
