Misa had conjuntivitis, for which I was planning on taking her to the vet to get antibiotics. I did a search on the net and found a home remedy in which apple cider vinegar is rubbed into the scruff of the neck. Lo and behold, it actually worked! The conjunctivitis cleared up within hours, literally. No more discharge or anything. I rubbed some more into her neck the next day to be on the safe side, but what I want to know is if anyone had ever heard of this before and if so, why does this work?
