you don't have to have the tail docked if you don't want to...
no one is going to put you in a yorkie jail for not having it docked :P

mickey's tail came docked from the breeder

edited: i heard that after a certain age you shouldn't dock it because its very painful for the puppy
i think this is within weeks after birth or something
