I have been reading the breed standard...KUSA's is exactly the same as AKC's...and it calls for a docked tail.

As of this coming June, vets in South Africa will be prohibited by law from performing this procedure. I am squeamish about the whole thing...I don't want to put a baby through that kind of pain...but if she turns out to have show potential, not having the tail docked will then pose a problem.

How many of you have had your Yorkie's tail docked? Any ideas, suggestions for me in making this decision? I have only a couple of months in which to decide.
