Now My question to you is are you sure you want one with a cotton coat? I know they look good when they are pups but I have 2 with cotton coats and I usually keep them shaved down. Their hair matts and grooming is a pain with cotton coats. I would love to grow their hair long but its just not worth the hastle |
Your right, a cotton coat takes constant care and even then still tangles. Several weeks ago I shaved Gracie except for her head for this reason. I really miss the long look but she is so much easier to take care of. The poor thing was getting brushed twice a day and still looked like she hadn't been brushed for a week!! I'm sure she's thrilled with her new haircut and not having to put up with being constantly groomed.
