Accidents do happen but you did exactly what you needed to do in that you rushed her right to the Vet
Whether it's broken or sprained she will heal
But blameing yourself isn't going to make her get better any sooner

I remember years ago our family had a little pug
and my mother opened the patio door for her to go out
and she hesitated and the last minute made a mad dash for the door
My mom thought she wasn't going out and went to close the door just as she went to go through
and hit her head
Pug dogs have a terrible problem in that their eyes can pop out of their sockets if hit on the side
I woke up to my mother screaming in the kitchen
and ran down the stairs to see
our dog with her eye almost hanging off her face
Quickly I ran with a cold towel and put pressure there and literally sped to the vets office
By the time we got there it was back in the socket
But this type of thing goes to show you always get them to where they need to go as soon as possible
