This is my first Yorkie, I usually get large dogs. My Yorkie is 13 weeks old. We've had her for 7 weeks. I took her to the vet last week for shots and they said she weighed 3 1/2 pounds. Am I over feeding her? I was told she will only get up to between 5 and 7 pounds. I give her about 1/3 to 1/2 cup of dry food ( Beneful) and a heapiny teaspoon of pedigree for puppies. She gets this twice a day , sometimes without the wet food. Plus small pieces of treats for pottying out side. The vet didn't say anything about her weight.
