Since you are from Canada, I think you mean the Canadian Kennel Club right? We have a .. should I say questionable CKC here, Continental Kennel Club that I think Nancy was referring to. Just wanted to clear that up.
To the OP I bet she found out the pup is sickly, goes down a lot or sold it to a higher bidder so to speak. To ship at 1 lb pup is insane.. It could suspected that it is an unhealthy pup, being not yet 1 lb.
