SO TRUE! It's amazing to hear those little heartbeats. When I found a lump, I'd look for a heartbeat. The sonogram said 1 puppy but I had heard 2 different types of beats...much to my surprise when she had 4!!!!!
oh, yeah, just use a regular stethoscope. I got mine off of eBay for under $10 with shipping/handling.
