i'm sorry kim, thats very sad.
but a lot of people would give an arm and leg to keep their baby around. my dog was hit by a car a few years ago. it dislocated his hip. and broke his leg. it was around 2000 dollars i believe for his first surgery. then his hip kept getting dislocated again and again, and it cost $$$ every time. now a few years later, it has finally stopped popping out, and he only has some arthritis in the winter. it wasn't my money that went into it, it was my parents, but if it had been mine, i would've given anything to keep him around. what happened to your dog is very sad, i'm sorry.
