I have to tell you having an autistic child is like having four children right there. I have two very good friends with Autistic sons and with all the extra time and energy they have to put into their care for both medical and learning issues they have both opted to not have other children. So I really am not sure how she manages or will manage with a child that is Autistic and 13 other children...especially with 8 of them being the same age. |
Autism is a spectrum disorder. Not all kids with autism are like having 4 kids.
My second oldest has autism along with a genetic disorder, and my 4th has a heart condition. Doesn't mean I shouldn't be able to have more children.
I don't think anyone knows "how she will do it". Sometimes you just take things day by day. I don't like how it all went down with her having all the kids, but it isn't my business. Since she has such a strong desire to be a mother of many children, I am going to give her the benefit of the doubt that she is going to try her best to be a good mother. I see a ton of people with one or 2 kids that I think shouldn't be parents. I see parents on here say things that make me think they shouldn't be allowed to have more kids, but that isn't my decision to make.
