Default Well, I forced myself

to read all the posts. I too think tha $8500 is alot for a dog. However, if I had it and I fell in love with the pup, I would pay it. Also, I don't think how much you pay for a pup has any bearing on what type of care you would give it. My two boys came from a BYB after I had a sick tiny that died and almost devastated me. Neither one are good standard yorkies, both are about 8 pounds, Garret has a cottony coat and floppy ears, Bengie is silky and his ears only go straight up when he wants something. Both are dark black with gold/tan markings (they are a year and a half old) However, I could not love them anymore than I do. when Bengie needed expensive vet care, I (at age 56) took on another job in addition to my 40+ hour day job and worked two jobs for over 8 months, I would lay down my life for my boys. We are all individuals, have individual lifestyles and finances, what I would pay is not what someone else would pay. Some people would say that paying what I have paid in vet bills for a so-so quality yorkie is nuts, but I love them and they are worth everything to me. If someone kidnapped either one of them and held them for $10,000 in ransom, I would sell my soul to get the money and get my boy(s) back. To me they are my world. JMHO
